Jay Carpio is an LA based cinematographer, photographer, colorist, and director.
Born in the Philippines, Jay’s interest in filmmaking started at a very young age, creating home movies with his siblings.
Not until college did he become heavily invested in filmmaking, VFX, motion graphics, and video editing.
This influence and commitment to the art of film are still strongly present in his work.
Current projects include SEMA Battle of the Builders, various SEMA stakeholders, commercial campaigns, wedding videos, and music videos.
Clients include: SEMA, HitRecord, StudioBarre, Malibu Guitar Festival.
